Is there a membership fee?
No. Joining CanadaFounders is free. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly on this website before it does.
Who can join?
Anyone building or supporting a business in Canada — founders, business owners, operators, advisors, mentors, investors, students, and aspiring founders.
Does my business need to be registered?
No. You are welcome at the idea stage. Our resources page links to official guidance on registering when you are ready.
How does the member directory work?
You send us your details, we confirm them with you, and your listing is published only after you approve what appears on it. You can ask us to update or remove it at any time.
Who can attend events?
Most sessions are open to the community. Each event listing states the format, the location or online link, and whether registration is required.
Does CanadaFounders provide funding?
No. We publish information about public programmes and investment organisations and link to their official pages. We do not provide funding, arrange investment, or decide eligibility for any programme.
Do you give legal, tax, or accounting advice?
No. Our resources point to official sources and qualified professionals. Please speak to a qualified adviser about your own situation.
